COSMOS ORGANIC A handful of lines are certified organic cosmetics according to the COSMOS ORGANIC Standard and controlled by ICEA (Istituto Certificazione Etica Ambientale - Ethical Environmental Certification Institute). These products contain plaint oils and extracts from certified organic farming, obtained through innovative methods that keep the active ingredients stable and unaltered. They contain only fragrances and ingredients allowed by COSMOS ORGANIC Regulations, they do not contain any raw materials derived from GMOs and are packaged in containers made with recyclable materials.
ORGANIC FARMING Since 2005, we have been certifying all of our agricultural activities as strictly organic with ICEA (Istituto per la Certificazione Etica Ambientale, Institute for Ethical Environmental Certification). We only use natural fertilisers and have eliminated the use of pesticides, herbicides and synthetic fertilisers in order to follow the principles of sustainable farming.
ORGANIC INGREDIENTS We insert organic ingredients into many of our lines, for example the L'OLIVO line, which has been created using organic olive oil and extract of organic olives reclaimed from oil mills.
RENEWABLE ENERGY Our COSMOS ORGANIC products are made in the L'ERBOLARIO Production Facility which has an Environmental Management System (UNI EN ISO 14001 certification) and uses 'zero impact' renewable energy.
