CRUELTY-FREE Since the beginning we have fought alongside LAV (Lega Anti Vivisezione - Anti-Vivisection Society) to obtain, in 2004, the ban on testing finished cosmetic products on animals. Since 2006 we have adhered to the “International Ban Animal Testing Standard”, whereby all our products are guaranteed by the LAV.
PLANT-BASED At our Extracts Research and Production Laboratory we obtain more than 300 different plant extracts and prefer those grown organically from our Botanical Garden. Our cosmetics are made with plant-based ingredients, mainly organic, such as oils, extracts, butters and waxes. Our Research and Development Laboratory works to study and develop effective, safe, innovative formulas to produce around 40 new products every year.
SAFETY AND EFFICACY The efficacy of our cosmetics are guaranteed by strict clinical tests supervised by the Internal Medicine and Medical Therapy Department of the University of Pavia. We also monitor the contents of 7 heavy metals (nickel, chromium, cadmium, lead, mercury, arsenic, antimony) to minimise the risk of allergy.
