This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, disclose, manage, and secure your personal information in strict accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) contained within the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (the Privacy Act). This policy applies across all our operations to retail customers, authorized stockists, and wholesale commercial partners.

1. Personal Information We Collect

We only collect personal information that is reasonably necessary to perform our core business functions and deliver our premium product distribution services. This information may include:

  • Identity Data: Your full name, company business name, and job title (for stockists).

  • Contact Data: Your billing address, physical delivery address, email address, and telephone numbers.

  • Financial Data: Credit card parameters, bank account details, and transaction histories.

  • Digital Data: IP addresses, browser types, and usage data captured through website traffic analytics.

2. How We Collect Personal Information

We collect personal information directly from you through various professional channels, including when you:

  • Purchase products via our website (hosted via Wix.com).

  • Submit a wholesale or stockist onboarding application.

  • Communicate with our team via email, telephone, or during in-person consultations at the Australian National Showroom.

  • Engage with our official social media channels, promotional campaigns, or subscribe to our digital mailing lists.

Third-Party Collection: On occasion, we may receive data via authorized third-party platforms or public registers (such as the Australian Business Register to verify stockist details). Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure you are aware of the shared data parameters.

3. Primary Use & Disclosure of Your Information

We utilize and disclose your personal data strictly for primary purposes connected to running our premium distribution agency, including:

  • Processing, packaging, safety-checking, and dispatching your cosmetic and perfume orders.

  • Managing trade invoices, accounts receivable, and verifying commercial identities.

  • Providing customer support and responding to ingredient or delivery queries.

Direct Marketing: We may use your email address to send promotional updates, brand announcements, or newsletter letters. In strict compliance with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth), every marketing communication contains a clear, functional "Unsubscribe" mechanism. You can choose to opt out of marketing communications at any point without impacting your transactional operations.

3a. Disclosure to Third-Party Service Providers

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties. However, to successfully fulfill your orders and manage our operations, we disclose necessary data elements to trusted third-party service providers. These include:

  • Delivery networks, freight couriers, and mailing houses (such as Australia Post and specialized Dangerous Goods road transport carriers).

  • Secure financial institutions and integrated payment gateways (such as Wix Payments, PayPal, or authorized merchant banking systems).

  • External IT infrastructure providers, web developers, and cloud storage hosts who maintain our secure internal databases.

All such third parties are contractually bound to handle your data with strict confidentiality and are prohibited from using your personal information for any secondary purpose.

3b. Digital Analytics, Marketing Pixels, and Social Tracking

Our website utilizes advanced marketing and analytics tracking tools (including Google Analytics and the Meta/Facebook Pixel) to monitor consumer traffic patterns, evaluate website performance, and deliver relevant digital advertising.

  • These tracking pixels aggregate demographic data and browsing behaviors on an anonymous basis.

  • If you prefer not to have your online shopping habits recorded by these tools, you can opt-out by managing your cookie parameters within your personal browser settings, or by adjusting your data choices via social media platform privacy menus.

4. Security & Storage of Data

We treat your personal data with absolute seriousness and take exhaustive operational steps to protect it from loss, unauthorized modification, misuse, or data breaches.

  • Cloud Hosting: Our primary website interface operates via Wix.com, utilizing encrypted data security frameworks.

  • Credit Card Protection: To process manual transactions securely, credit card parameters provided to our team over the phone are processed instantly and immediately destroyed via secure shredding protocols. We strictly advise against and request that you never transmit raw credit card details via unencrypted channels like email.

  • Data Minimisation: We retain your data only for as long as it remains necessary to execute our commercial functions or satisfy statutory financial reporting rules. When records are no longer required, they are safely permanently deleted or securely de-identified.

5. Sensitive Information Disclaimer

Under the Privacy Act, "sensitive information" includes highly personal data such as political affiliations, religious or philosophical beliefs, racial origins, union memberships, or criminal profiles. We do not seek to collect, handle, or harvest sensitive information. We explicitly request that you do not disclose sensitive details to our staff. If you voluntarily transmit sensitive comments to us, it constitutes explicit consent for us to hold that data within our email records under standard storage guidelines.

6. Cookies & Tracking Technology

Our Wix-hosted website utilizes "cookies" (small background text files placed on your computer) to streamline your user experience, retain shopping cart selections, and analyze digital store traffic metrics. You hold complete autonomy to configure your browser parameters to reject cookies, though doing so may limit your navigation capabilities across our wholesale and retail portals.

7. Accessing & Correcting Your Information

Under the APPs, you retain the legal right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, or to demand corrections if you believe the records are out-of-date or incomplete.

  • To update your contact numbers, billing addresses, or commercial portal credentials, please email ciao@primex-lerbolarioaustralia.com.au.

  • To maintain strict data security and prevent identity theft, we may require formal identity verification documentation before altering or releasing any archived files.

8. Modifications to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time to reflect changing technological requirements, operational workflows, or statutory adjustments to Australian and New Zealand privacy legislation. All amendments take effect immediately upon being published to our digital storefront footer.
